What The Hell Is Wrong!?!?

Look at the pictures and imagine eating them. Can you ever? Can you ever kill them with some blunt object? slice them and dice them and then cook up some sort of stew with them puppy bits for your dinner?

It just so happens to be what some of these immigrant workers somewhere in Klang Valley area have been doing ever so conveniently lately.
It sickens me terribly to hear this because i have dogs myself and i consider them more than just animals.

We've learned all about it in physics back in school, but have you ever seen anyone ever trying it? Imagine a truck travelling at 100km/h and from that truck it shoots out a ball at the same speed but just in the opposite direction and what do we get? This video is what we get Godamnit!

Come over HERE for the link.

3 Days And 6 Pictures

Sunday, June 15, 2008

This weekend has been a very great weekend thanks to Yew Inn, Darren, Kevin and Darren's decision to come to kl for the weekend for some great fun in the big city.

They arrived around noon or so but i only got to meet up with them in the evening right after class, met up in Lowyat which we then went to the room to take a a short rest before heading out for dinner. Dinner at Jalan Alor and a midnight movie later, we ended up sleeping at 4 am.

Was really surprised though, even at 2 am those foot reflexology outlets were still open and to top it up, we had two old normal everyday looking ahpek asked us " beautiful girls we have" and " you want any girls tonight?" as we walked past them. Of course we did not take the offer, since we're all well brought kids with moral values.

Next day, after checking out we ended up in Megamall to do some last minute shopping ( mainly just yew inn), had dinner at Murni, played dota until 130 am, then supper near my place. Owh, we had Andrew Norman as well, so my car was pretty much a can of sardines, as they were all sleeping over at my place later on. Luckily i have extra mattresses lying around here and there if not they would have ended up sleeping on the cold floor. Man im a good host.

Today wasnt that bad either, with only 5 hours of sleep up our sleeves, we trotted to pyramid to get their last item on their list, J.Co doughnuts. Succumbed to the temptation, i got myself a dozen which i have already devoured about half of them as of now. They really do live up to the hype. It's good.

Sent them to the train station and i drove straight home to have a nice short 3 hour nap. Like i said earlier, this weekend's been a really great one. It's been a while since i've hung out with them and all and doing things not related to work. It's sort of liberating. Got my mind off off things for three days and that really did me good.

There's only one thing i regretted, that is in the 3 days we were having fun, i only managed to take 6 pictures.

I'm still unable to believe my eyes. I've been waiting for a very very very long time for this and finally, one of my dreams might have just come true!

What am i talking about? Well.. one of my favourite indie bands, Death Cab For Cutie is going to perform right here in KL in august!!

Death Cab who? Ish, have you been living on the mainstream all these while? They're this great alternative indie band who makes really good music and most of them are epic in proportions.

If the ticket's cheap ill definitely go. If its not cheap, ill still go too. How often does this ever happen in Malaysia?!?!

Wanna go?

The proof's all HERE

If you haven't heard of them already, here's some of their greater works.

Uh-Oh Spaghetti-Oh

Sunday, June 08, 2008

This weekend has been a very fulfilling weekend, and when i say fulfilling i really mean Full and Filling.

Saturday night i decided to cook some spaghetti for me and since i know myself best, one serving of this italian pasta dish will never be sufficient, i decided to make a little extra.

I got myself a can of Prego Traditional spaghetti sauce ( which serves only about two meats), some minced meat, a can of tomato puree, button mushroom and from scratch i built one awesome sauce. This is my second time making spaghetti mind you.
I added some dried chili to make it slightly spicy but the only the missing was some grilled mozzarella cheese and Parmesan for extra taste. Nonetheless it tasted pretty darn good, so much so i had three plates last night, a huge plate for lunch today and there's still extra for one extra plate, which i have already prepared for tomorrow's breakfast in class.

Talking about it already made me hungry. Today i made Beef soup for the entire household, just like how Mum used to make. It was good, but it still tasted a little different, just can't really tell what's missing.

Friday night i spent sometime in Carrefour grocery shopping and boy did i shop. Spent a bunch on snacks, fast food, and drinks.

Besides food i've been having classes, exams on friday, tried studying and everything else is the same so goodbye.

P.S : you're supposed to stare at my cooking okay, not my dirty table. The messy and dirty stove just shows how good i am at cooking.

Jesus Christ! It's Crocodillo

Sunday was our nation's Royal Airforce Anniversary and so to celebrate each year they'll hold an expo and airshow at their base without miss. Under normal circumstances i would never go to such an event because

  1. I hate crowded places
  2. it is really really hot during the day
the many old fighers jets on displaye

Of course the other day was not like any other day. Lai jeng and Han coincidentally came by to give me a nice little visit ( more like a visit for my computer) and how can i forget, that TUDM base is just 10 mins drive away!
Su30 Sukhoi in the hangar

The airforce was really nice to have divided the show into a morning session and an evening session, thus there was less people in the evening which made the whole experience must better
Gattling cannon, missile, and some weird dude

When i arrived they have already started the show with some paradrop and some helicopter rescue scenario, and propeller acrobatic light aircraft doing some moves here and there.
The backside of a jet fighter. this work of art can fly at MACH 2. That's like twice the speed of sound!

Then began the fighter jets. There some Hornets and mig 29s doing some acrobatic maneuvers which was pretty impresses especially doing the low and slow flight with a high angle of attack. It seemed like it was just floating!

Besides the air show there was also other things to see, like they had made this hangar booths showcasing weapons and missiles and the gattling cannon which fires 6000 rounds per minute and also the newly bought Sukhoi fighter which the russian was so kind enough to throw in a discounted trip to space. Talking about a good deal..

Finally, the brought out the Sukhoi which we all loved and enjoyed because of all, the Sukhoi has the loudest engine and we men do love everything loud yeah!

Jeng and Han.

That's What She Said

Sunday, June 01, 2008

Oh my god. I have not updated for almost a week now but there isn't a real reason to anyway. Have been busy with classes as of late and owh, did i mention that i am hooked on " The Office" ?There are many shows out there, and most of them i can say are quite funny, but never in my life have i seen a show that makes me laugh out loud. Countless occasion i'll laugh in the inside but not this show, nu-uh. Well, Flight of the Conchords and Summer heights high comes close.
Im done with season three just moments ago, and thanks to the show im neglecting my studies. I have so much to study that it scares me from time to time knowing that it'll get so much more difficult.

Anyhoo, toodleloo!
